How often do I communicate with a renter so they call me when they’re ready to buy.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: I do my due diligence in following up, (say monthly, depending on past convo in my database history) & a prospect responds with “they are not interested.” This prompts be to probe – you are not interested now, will you be in the market in a few months or you are not interested ever? At what point do you recommend me “deleting” a prospect from my database who lacks motivation?

ONE THING I LEARNED: Follow up is crucial to your business and working your database is not optional but mandatory. I’ve lost a few deals early on for not following and then being told they “already” purchased a home when I did follow up. That could’ve been your transaction!

    Hi Orlando,

The module 06 Sales Skills, points 3.0 Following-up and 3.1 Progress tracker, don’t have information.

    Thanks

Doris, strange……you can’t see anything, we will take a look at it.

Either way, follow-up is very simple and this is the shortest module in the entire platform.

Follow up is not complicated, you either follow up or you don’t. Some people use CRM’s most agents don’t. Follow up has more to do with discipline and organization than a particular technique.

I’ll create a video to answer this question for you next week.

I guess my biggest problem with following up is what is the threshold if when you are being a great Realtor at following up and being organized,
as opposed to annoying the prospect?
