COMMENT OF THE DAY – As Orlando advised there are many CRMs out there. If anyone is interested in hearing about the one I use, please reach out to me directly. I can provide you a link to get a 90 day free trial.

ONE THING I LEARNED – The TMO Forum has great information (Q&As). I look forward to seeing the new website setup for 2017 to see how we will be able to access this information more effectively.

    DATABASE QUESTION

Orlando, do you recommend we “delete” a prospect who unsubscribes from emails and never answers calls or returns messages/texts? In other words, is your philosophy to continue calling until they say they don’t want any more calls or do you recommend deleting after a certain amount of attempts?

Delete them. You want to do business with people that want to do business with you. Besides is a lot of time and energy waster to be chasing after people that don’t seem interested

    Hi Orlando,
Starting from the basis, that the DATA is the heart of our business,
Which is the way, you would recommend to us, to create it? So that it is more effective, systematic and functional to use.
Are there any particular CRM system you recommend us?

    Many thanks,

    Best Regards,

    Thais Lopez

Great question. There are many CRM’s in the market, and most are very good, they are also very complex and the learning curve is long.

If you have the time and money to invest you can start with Top Producer 8i. You will find good and bad review, it takes time to learn. If you want a more sophisticated, also more expensive system you can go with infusionsoft.

If you want something easy, cheap and effective todoledo.com + mailchimp should be enough for a while. We can help you learn how to use todoledo and maichimp during our 1-1 coaching sessions, we can talk about it during our next meeting.

When u say to create your data base u mean a list of past and present clients plus possible leads. How do you target each different group?

The database (list) should consist of 5 types of people:

    1. Friends and Family
    2. Past Clients
    3. Potential Clients
    4. Connectors
    5. Real Estate Agents
